About the Millhorn Law Firm

The Millhorn Law Firm has been in the Central Florida area since 1992. During this time, we've established long-term relationships with our clients and the community. We strive to be responsive and to keeping our clients satisfied.

Originally, a substantial portion of the firm's practice focused on estate planning, such as Last Will and Testaments, Revocable Living Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, and Living Wills. As this area has grown and developed so has our firm. We now have offices in Lake, Sumter and Marion counties. In the recent year, we have concentrated our efforts on being a full service firm that can meet all of our client's legal needs. Michael D. Millhorn received his Juris Doctorate from Nova University Law School and has been practicing law since 1980. In the early 1980's Michael D. Millhorn became Senior Attorney and in-house counsel for Florida Power & Light in Miami, Florida. In 1992, Michael D. Millhorn opened The Millhorn Law Firm in the Tri-County area.

Michael D. Millhorn is a Vietnam Veteran, having served his country with the distinction as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps.

Michael D. Millhorn is a member of the Florida Bar and the Marion County Bar Association. He is a past president of the Lady Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Amy Reed Pittman was born and raised in Marion County, Florida. Amy Reed Pittman graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Central Florida and received her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law. Jacqueline C. Dellinger, Attorney at Law

Ms. Dellinger's practice is concentrated in Family Law, Real Estate and Contracts and she is licensed in both Florida and Virginia. Before joining the Millhorn Law Firm in 2007, Ms. Dellinger practiced family law in Northern Virginia for over 20 years.

In 2002, Ms. Dellinger was listed as an "Honored Professional" in the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals and in the 2002 Kingston's National Registry of Who's Who.

In 2001, nationally proclaimed as the "Year of the Child," Ms. Dellinger was profiled in the July 11, 2001 edition of The National Law Journal in recognition of her work with children and families in the Northern Virginia area.

She is a past lecturer for the Virginia State Bar Continuing Legal Education program on a variety of family law topics, as well as a guest speaker for professional organizations in Virginia and in Florida on family law.

Active in numerous State Court and local Bar committees in Virginia, Ms. Dellinger plans to become similarly involved in Florida as she continues her work in family law, real estate, and contracts in the tri-county areas of Marion, Sumter, and Lake counties.

Ms. Dellinger is a member of the Family Law Section and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the Florida State Bar.

Ms. Dellinger received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in English (awarded with High Distinction) in 1974 from George Mason University; her Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree in English in 1981, also from George Mason University; and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 1986 from George Mason University School of Law.

Prior to her career as an attorney, Ms. Dellinger enjoyed a career in news and journalism.

From 1979-81, Ms. Dellinger was a Public Information Specialist with NASA Headquarters Newsroom, Washington, D.C., where she served as an agency press liaison with newspaper, radio and television news sources and as Editor-in-Chief of NASA Activities, a monthly journal with national and international circulation. Ms. Dellinger also served as an on-site press officer for NASA during Space Shuttle Missions 1 through 4, assigned to Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, Florida and Mission Control, Houston, Texas, and for the Voyager Space Science Mission in Pasadena, California. From 1974 to 1979, Ms. Dellinger was a writer-editor with the U.S. Geological Survey Headquarters in Reston, Virginia where she was Associate Editor of a quarterly journal, and provided writing/editing services for the Agency annual report, special publications, public information leaflet series, and an Agency map series.

Ms. Dellinger received "Special Achievement" Awards from both NASA and the U.S. Geological Survey in recognition of her "outstanding service" to the agency.

Stefan L. Addison received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Syracuse University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis, School of Law.

He began his career as an Estate Tax Attorney with the Internal Revenue Service, United States Treasury, then practiced law in Central New York with several major law firms in the area of estate and trust planning and estate and trust administration as well as all aspects of federal and state taxation relating to his practice. He is also experienced in the practice of business acquisitions and dispositions.

Michael R. Willis, Attorney at Law

Michael R. Willis received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and Master of Laws (LL.M) in Elder Law from Stetson University College of Law and has been practicing law since 1988. He practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Elder Law, Guardianship, Probate, Probate Litigation and Personal Injury Litigation.

Michael R. Willis has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and an M.B.A. in Health Systems Administration from Union College in Schenectady New York, and has served on the executive staff of the Florida Hospital Association. He has an A.A.S. degree in Nursing Science and is a currently licensed Registered Nurse. His nursing experience includes long-term care in nursing homes, nursing management, community- based home care, psychiatric nurse consulting, and supervision of care for persons with developmental disabilities. He is currently licensed by the State of Florida as a Health Care Risk Manager. He has consulted with Nursing Homes in Central Florida and has extensive experience in nursing home litigation.

Michael R. Willis is a member of the Elder Law Section and Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the Florida Bar. He volunteers as pro bono counsel for the Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association, a national non-profit organization.

Ben Moore, Attorney at Law

Ben Moore graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A degree in Business Administration in 1961 and from Wayne State University in Detroit with a Juris Doctor degree in 1964. He has taken advanced classes in tax law. He was admitted to the Michigan and Federal Courts in 1964. His previous work included working as a claims adjuster from 1961-64. After graduation he opened an office in metropolitan Detroit where he maintained a private practice of law for 44 years with areas of concentration in Business law, Probate, Real Estate, Estate Planning and General Litigation.

Ben is a member of the Michigan and South Oakland Bar Associations. He was the founder and past President of the Madison Heights Michigan Chamber of Commerce, an elected member of the City Council for Madison Heights, a past Dean of the Metropolitan Detroit Alumni Chapter of the Delta Theta Phi Professional Law Fraternity, past president of the local Kiwanis Club, served on the Oakland County Circuit Court mediation panel, was a member of the Board of Directors of the South Oakland YMCA and has been the President of the Oakland County Meals on Wheels program for 22 years.

Ben has been married for 52 years and has 3 children.

He is admitted to practice in Michigan only and is working as a paralegal in the litigation department of The Millhorn Law Firm.
